World Friendship Day was a success! The girls had a blast and so did the parents! The girls worked really hard and I believe they learned a lot about Ethiopian culture, climate, dress, animals and food. They also had fun "visiting" the other countries represented by our sister troops.For our country, we made prints using stamps made out of lemons, potatoes, wood and string. We then wove these together to create a "quilt" of artwork. We also stamped fabric to use as our table decoration.
The girls learned about ceremonial dress, beadwork and face painting. They looked adorable with their little painted faces.
